Mantra network auditing is not inline and is completely transparent to users. It quickly discovers where critical data is located then uses that insight to create auditing policies for compliance with data-related regulations and enable data theft detection.

2. Agent-less Local Auditing
Mantra is the only agent-less solution for monitoring all data activity, whether it occurs over the network or via a local terminal connection to the database server. For local auditing, Mantra collects audit data from the DBMS systems in a highly optimized manner. It then consolidates this data, with events gathered from the network, into a single audit repository, enabling uniform compliance reporting and fine-grained forensic event correlation.
