Mantra is a passive, non-inline network appliance. Mantra’s intelligent adapters decode network and local SQL and file server traffic based on policies that you write to automate your data auditing practices.
Audit policies are defined to collect a broad range of “dimensions” that can be used to audit data. Alert policies determine if suspicious behavior is happening using patent-pending technology called Behavioral Fingerprinting. Alert policies will automatically send notifications to designated systems or users alerting them to unusual behavior.
Mantra provides policy-based session termination to stop unauthorized activity in real-time. Session termination does not require inline deployment--minimizing any point of failure in the network.
Mantra reports are automatically generated in the Tizor Management Center. These reports provide a high level-summary view of activity.They also allow you to drill down into the very specific, detailed event or incident and gather all the data associated with that event, such as the SQL query that initiated the event, the time and location, the user and much more.
